OCTOBER 3RD RECOVERY UPDATE:
As we wind down this warm day, we look ahead to a great weekend in Adair County.
It's Friday night lights tonight as the Wolverines travel to Corning for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff. The Grand Theatre shows Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl all weekend. Also tonight, Jeffrey Michaels performs at Rustic Tap in Fontanelle from 8–11 p.m. At 7:00 p.m., Chrome Horse, a Bob Dylan tribute, takes the stage at the Warren Cultural Center. On Saturday, October 4, the Orient Community Library presents “Around the World in 26 Days” at 9:30 a.m., KC’s Tavern in Bridgewater serves a ham ball and cheesy potato dinner at 5:00 pm, comedian Carl Giannetto performs at Jennie’s Place in Orient at 8:00 p.m. On Sunday, October 5, the Adair County Fall Fest fills the fairgrounds with a vendor show, food trucks, live music, a kid zone, contests, and more, running throughout the day. Sunday afternoon, The Gathering Place hosts the Good News Concert at 5:00 p.m. with Ambassadors of Grace and The Loynachans.
