Hygiene Pantry

The Gathering Place houses the hygiene pantry for those in need of personal care items such as deodorant, shampoo, soap, baby diapers, laundry detergent, and more. The pantry is currently open 3:30-5:00pm on Tuesdays or by appointment. Contact Jennifer at 641-745-5904 or Iris at 641-221-0651 to set up a time to visit.

Donations are taken year-round for the personal hygiene pantry. This includes new or unopened items such as shampoo, body wash, lotion, deodorant, razors, shave gel, women’s personal products, toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, household cleaning products, laundry soap, and dryer sheets. Please drop items off items at The Gathering Place or call Jennifer at 641-745-5904 to arrange a drop-off time.

Help stock the Hygiene Pantry! Usage of the pantry has more than quadrupled since the tornado in May, so there are several items that are in desperate need of restocking. Donations may be dropped in the box outside the east entrance at any time.

The following items are out or incredibly low in stock at the pantry:

*Baby lotion

*Baby shampoo

*Q-Tips

*Toilet Bowl Cleaner

*Jugs of Liquid Laundry Soap

*Dryer Sheets

*Spray bathroom & kitchen cleaners

*Liquid concentrate cleaners (Pinesol, Mr. Clean, Ajax, etc.)
